Nach intensiven Tests hat ein unabhängiges Prüfinstitut der P- und M-Serie der Solar Fabrik hervorragende Brandschutzeigenschaften bescheinigt und die höchste Brandschutzklasse 'Class 1″ für den italienischen Markt verliehen. Nur Module der Brandschutzklasse 1 dürfen ohne weiteren Nachweis der Bedachungseigenschaften installiert werden, für alle anderen Module muss der Nachweis über die Eigenschaften der Brandweiterleitung der Dachmaterialien geführt werden. 'In Italien spielen die Förderung, aber auch weitere Regulierungen beim Einsatz von Photovoltaik eine wichtige Rolle. Die italienischen Vorgaben zum Brandschutz von Solarmodulen werden durch die herkömmliche Bauartzertifizierung nach IEC 61730 nicht abgedeckt. Bei der Prüfnorm UNI 9174 werden die Module einer Strahlungs- und Zündquelle ausgesetzt und die Flammenausbreitung und das Abtropfverhalten bestimmt. Durch innovative Weiterentwicklungen zusammen mit den Komponentenlieferanten hat die Solar Fabrik die P- und M-Serie dahingehend optimiert, die Anforderungen der anspruchsvollen Brandschutzklasse 1 zu erfüllen. Diese Einstufung wurde durch das vom Innenministerium autorisierte Istituto Giordano bestätigt.

Through innovative developments together with the component suppliers, Solar Fabrik has optimized the P- and M- series to excel at the requirements of the challenging fire 'class 1' classification. This classification was confirmed by the Istituto Giordano, authorized by the Ministry of the Interior.
