Currently, Alberto Lavandeira occupies the position of Chief Executive Officer, MD & Executive Director at Atalaya Mining Plc and Chief Executive Officer for Emed Tartessus SL (a subsidiary of Atalaya Mining Plc).

He is also on the board of Black Dragon Gold Corp. and Atalaya Minasderiotinto Project (UK) Ltd.

In the past Mr. Lavandeira occupied the position of President, Chief Executive & Operating Officer at Rio Narcea Gold Mines SA and Director of Global Mining Research at Strategic Investment Advisors (Spain) SA.

Alberto Lavandeira received an undergraduate degree from the University of Oviedo.
