Ashish Upadhyaya occupies the position of Secretary at India Ministry of Power.

He is also on the board of Ntpc Ltd.

In the past Mr. Upadhyaya held the position of Secretary at State of Madhya Pradesh (India) and Joint Secretary at India Ministry of Coal.

Mr. Upadhyaya received a graduate degree from St. John's College Agra and a graduate degree from Maxwell School of Citizenship & Public Affairs.
