Christiane Hipp is on the board of CEWE Stiftung & Co. KGaA, Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt and Fraunhofer-Institut für Angewandte Polymerforschung IAP and Professor at Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus.

She received a doctorate from Universität Stuttgart and an undergraduate degree from the University of Karlsruhe.
