In the past Dr. Dhanak occupied the position of Vice President & Head-Discovery Sciences at Janssen Research & Development LLC and Vice President at GlaxoSmithKline LLC.

He received an undergraduate degree from the University of Manchester Institute of Science & Technology and a doctorate from the University of London.
