Founder of Xiaomi Corp. and Xiaomi Singapore Pte. Ltd., De Liu presently occupies the position of Executive Director, Senior VP & Head-Organization at Xiaomi Corp. and Senior Vice President of Xiaomi Singapore Pte. Ltd. (a subsidiary of Xiaomi Corp.). Mr. Liu is also on the board of 6 other companies.

Mr. Liu previously held the position of Dean at the University of Science & Technology Beijing.

He received a graduate degree from Art Center College of Design and an undergraduate degree and a graduate degree from Beijing Institute of Technology.
