In his past career he was Chairman at Metropolitan Chicago Healthcare Council, Member of World Presidents' Organization, Special Advisor at Merrick Ventures LLC, President & Chief Executive Officer for Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Member of The Commercial Club of Chicago, Director at United Way of Metro Chicago, Inc. and President-Health System at The University of Chicago.

Mr. Harrison received an undergraduate degree from Indiana University and an MBA from St. Francis College.
