Derek A. Higgs is a Non-Executive Director of Egg Plc. He was a Director of Jones Lang LaSalle, Inc. from March 1999 to April 2008. Previously, he was Chairman of Prudential Portfolio Managers Limited and a Director of Prudential Plc from January 1996 to December 2000. Prior to that, Mr. Higgs became a Director of S.G. Warburg & Co. Ltd. in 1979, Head of Global Corporate Finance in 1986 and Chairman in 1994. He is a Director of Allied Irish Banks Plc and a Senior Advisor to UBS Investment Bank. Currently, Mr. Higgs is Chairman of Partnerships UK Plc and Deputy Chairman of The British Land Company Plc and has been Chairman of Alliance & Leicester Plc since October 2005. He is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Doctor of Laws degree from the University of Bristol.
