Presently, Edward Royal Smith occupies the position of Executive Vice President-Operations of Enviva, Inc. and Vice President-Operations at Enviva LP and Vice President-Operations for Enviva Partners GP LLC (both are subsidiaries of Enviva, Inc.).

Mr. Smith previously was General Manager at United Plastics Group, Inc., Principal at UPC Corp., Principal at General Motors Corp., Operations Director-NAA Division at Guilford Performance Textiles, Inc. and Plant Manager at Pactiv LLC.

He received an undergraduate degree from Kettering University.
