Currently, Elena Popescu is Chairman of OPCOM S.A.

She is also on the board of Societatea Nationala Nuclearelectrica SA and GM-Energy Policies at Romania Ministry of Energy.

In the past Dr. Popescu held the position of Head-Installation at Nuclearmontaj SA and Chairman of EnergoNuclear SA.

She received a doctorate, a graduate degree and an undergraduate degree from Politehnica University of Bucharest.
