In his past career he held the position of Member of Hong Kong Maritime & Port Board, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer at Credit Agricole Asia Shipfinance Ltd., Member of The Hong Kong Maritime Industry Council and Head-Ship Finance Department at Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank (HK Branch).

Fu Kwok Cheng received an undergraduate degree from the University of Hong Kong.
