Currently, Gang Wu holds the position of Chairman at Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology Co., Ltd., Chairman-Supervisory Board at VENSYS Energy AG and Chairman & Co-Managing Director at Goldwind Windenergy GmbH (both are subsidiaries of Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology Co., Ltd.) and Deputy Director at Chinese Renewable Energy Industries Association.

He received a graduate degree from Dalian University of Technology and an undergraduate degree from Xinjiang University.
