Currently, Günther Bräunig holds the position of Chairman-Supervisory Board at Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG, Head-Legal, Human Resources & Financial Markets at KfW Bankengruppe (Hessen) and Managing Director at KfW Mittelstandsbank (Private Equity).

He is also on the board of Deutsche Telekom AG, Deutsche Post AG and True Sale International GmbH.

He previously held the position of Chairman-Management Board at IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG, Director-Sales Finance at Airbus Industrie North America, Group Head at Commerzbank AG and Manager-Sales Finance at Airbus Industrie Asia SAS.

Dr. Bräunig received a doctorate from The Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz.
