He is also on the board of Beijing Guohua Real Estate Co., Ltd.

He previously was Chief Strategy Officer for JD.com, Inc.

Dr. Zhao received an undergraduate degree from Nankai University, a doctorate and a graduate degree from Tianjin University and an MBA from China Europe International Business School.
