Currently, James Louis Chosy occupies the position of Senior Executive Vice President & General Counsel at U.S. Bancorp and Secretary, Director, EVP & General Counsel at U.S. Bank NA (Canada) (a subsidiary of U.S. Bancorp). Mr. Chosy is also on the board of National Legal Aid & Defender Association and U. S. Banquecorp Ltd. and Member of The Leadership Council and Director at Guthrie Theater Foundation.

In his past career he occupied the position of Member-Governing Board at The Children's Theatre Co., Secretary, Vice President & General Counsel for U.S. Bancorp, Chairman at The Clearing House Association LLC, Managing Director, Secretary & General Counsel at Piper Sandler & Co. Mr. Chosy received an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin and a graduate degree from the University of Minnesota.
