He is on the Board of Directors at Abu Dhabi National Energy Co. PJSC, Abu Dhabi Ports Co. PJSC and Ad Ports Group. Mr. Al-Suwaidi was previously employed as a Chief Investment Officer by Abu Dhabi Developmental Holding Co. PJSC, a Chief Executive Officer by Abu Dhabi National Chemicals Co., and an Executive Director-Refining & Petrochemicals by Mubadala Investment Co. PJSC.

He received his undergraduate degree from The California State University and an MBA from Zayed University / Abu Dhabi.
