Presently, Kwok Wai Chan is Member of Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Member of Protection of Wages on Insolvency Fund Board (a subsidiary of Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region). Mr. Chan is also Member of Tsinghua University, Member of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Member of CPA Australia Ltd., Member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (Hong Kong), Associate for Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators (HK), Member of Protection of Wages on Insolvency Fund Board and Member of Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (Hong Kong) and on the board of 5 other companies.

In his past career he was Chief Financial Officer of Sun Hung Kai Properties Ltd., Head-Financial Control at Hang Seng Bank Ltd. and Executive Director at Hang Seng Bank Ltd.

Kwok Wai Chan received an MBA from the University of Warwick.
