Michael Steiner is on the board of CARIAD SE and Head-Group Development Division at Volkswagen AG.

In the past Dr. Steiner occupied the position of Manager-Strategic Project at Mercedes-Benz Group AG and Head-Product Concepts at Mercedes-Benz AG (a subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz Group AG), Executive Vice President-Customer Development at Porsche Engineering Services GmbH and Executive Vice President-Customer Development at Porsche Engineering Group GmbH.

Dr. Steiner received an undergraduate degree from Technische Universität München.
