Presently, Mpumi Zikalala holds the position of Chief Executive Officer & Executive Director at Kumba Iron Ore Ltd. Ms. Zikalala is also on the board of University of Johannesburg Trust Fund and Chairman-Private Sector Forum at South African National AIDS Council.

Mpumi Zikalala received an undergraduate degree from the University of the Witwatersrand.
