In the past she held the position of Chairman at National Bank of Oman, Vice Chairman, CEO & Managing Director at Takaful Oman Insurance SAOG, Group Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director at ONIC Holding, Non-Executive Director at ONIC Holding and Deputy Chief Executive Officer-Investments at State General Reserve Fund of Oman.

Dr. Al-Said received an undergraduate degree from The American University in Cairo and a graduate degree from Loughborough University.
