Rebecca Fatima Sta. Maria is Council Member at Institute For Democracy & Economic Affairs and on the board of 7 other companies.

In the past she occupied the position of Secretary at Ministry of International Trade & Industry, Chairman of EU-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Chief Administration & Procurement Officer at National Institute of Public Administration.

She received an undergraduate degree from the University of Malaya, a graduate degree from Universiti Putra Malaysia and a doctorate from the University of Georgia.
