Sie ist außerdem Mitglied des International Women's Forum und Ratsmitglied des International Integrated Reporting Council und im Vorstand von 6 weiteren Unternehmen. In ihrer früheren Karriere war Frau Chng Ratsmitglied beim Singapore Accounting Standards Council, Non-Executive Chairman bei der DBS Bank India Ltd. und Direktorin beim Singapore Housing & Development Board. Sie erwarb einen Bachelor-Abschluss an der National University of Singapore.
