Somnuk Bomrungsalee is on the board of IRPC Public Co., Ltd. and Megachem (Thailand) Public Co. Ltd. In the past he was Director General at Thailand Ministry of Energy and Director General at Thailand Department of Energy Business.

He received an undergraduate degree from King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi and a graduate degree from National Institute of Development Administration.
