Presently, Stephen Laster occupies the position of Chief Operating Officer of D2L, Inc. Mr. Laster is also on the board of Academic Merit LLC, The Software & Information Industry Association, Inc. and IMS Global Learning Consortium, Inc.

In his past career Stephen Laster held the position of Chief Digital Officer of McGraw-Hill Education, Inc., Chief Product Officer for Penn Foster, Inc., Chief Product Officer for Ellucian Co. LP and Chief Information & Technology Officer at Harvard Business School.

Mr. Laster received an undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College and an MBA from F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business.
