Presently, Vikrom Koompirochana occupies the position of Chairman of Country Group Development Public Co. Ltd., Chairman at Sports & Recreation Management Co. Ltd. and Co-Chairman for Mazda Chonburi Co. Ltd. Dr. Koompirochana is also on the board of 8 other companies.

In his past career he held the position of Deputy Secretary at Thailand Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Vikrom Koompirochana received an undergraduate degree from the University of Chulalongkorn and a graduate degree and a doctorate from Michigan State University.
