Presently, W. Denman van Ness holds the position of Chairman for Hidden Hill Advisors.

He is also on the board of XOMA Corp. (former Chairman).

He previously occupied the position of General Partner at OVP Venture Partners General Partner for Rainier Venture Partners LP and General Partner for Olympic Venture Partners II LP (both are subsidiaries of OVP Venture Partners), Managing Director at CIBC Capital Partners and General Partner-Venture Capital Group at Hambrecht & Quist LLC.

W. Denman van Ness received an undergraduate degree from Williams College and an MBA from Harvard University.
