KG, Chairman-Supervisory Board for Jadeweserport Realisierungs-Beteiligungs-GmbH and Chairman-Supervisory Board at Container Terminal Wilhelmshaven Jadeweserport-Marketing GmbH. Bernd Althusmann is also on the board of Volkswagen AG and Deutsche Messe AG.

Dr. Althusmann received an undergraduate degree from the University of the Federal Armed Forces Hamburg, an undergraduate degree from AKAD University and a doctorate from the University of Potsdam.
