Presently, Niels Heinrich Pörksen holds the position of Chairman-Management Board & CEO at Südzucker AG.

He is also on the board of AGCO Corp. and AGRANA Beteiligungs-AG.

He previously occupied the position of Director & Chief Agricultural Officer at Nordzucker AG and Scientific Assistant at the University of Kiel.

Dr. Pörksen received a graduate degree and a doctorate from the University of Kiel.
