Currently, Paul Herbert Compton occupies the position of Global Head-Corporate & Investment Bank at Barclays PLC and Co-President & Global Head-Banking at Barclays Bank Plc (a subsidiary of Barclays PLC).

He is also on the board of n-Lorem Foundation.

In his past career Mr. Compton held the position of Chief Administrative Officer at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Vice President at The Bear Stearns Cos., Inc. and Deputy Head-Operations at J.P. Morgan Services India Pvt Ltd. (both are subsidiaries of JPMorgan Chase & Co.), Principal at Ernst & Young LLP and Principal at EY Port Jackson Partners.

Mr. Compton received an undergraduate degree from The University of Queensland.
