Currently, Yngve Slyngstad holds the position of Chief Executive Officer of Aker Asset Management AS.

He is also on the board of Deutsche Bank AG.

In the past Mr. Slyngstad was Chief Executive Officer of Norges Bank Investment Management, Chief Investment Officer-Asian Equities at Storebrand Asset Management AS and Head Equity Investments at Norges Bank Investment Management (UK).

He received an MBA from Norwegian School of Economics & Business Administration, a graduate degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, a graduate degree from the University of Oslo and a graduate degree from Université Paris II Panthéon Assas.
