Gary Smith

Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Smith was a consultant in design methodology.
Before that, he was at LSI Logic, where he became involved in the development of the RT level design methodology.
Starting in the semiconductor industry, Mr. Smith was involved in some of the first attempts at customer-designed ICs.
Mr. Smith earned his bachelor of science degree in engineering from the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland.
He is a current member the Design TWG for the International Semiconductor Road Map (ITRS).
