Mr. George B. Stadler, CFA MBA, is a Founding Principal at HMS Capital Management LLC.
He is committed to building successful relationships with our clients.
He brings over 37 years of investment and family wealth management experience to the firm.
He has served on countless non-profit boards and understands the needs and challenges of these organizations as only an insider can.
His knowledge and experience allows him to help foundations and endowments to construct investment portfolios which meet their need for current income and long term growth.
While at SunTrust Bank, he was Regional Managing Director for the Personal Asset Management group where he oversaw the investment management of assets throughout the state of Tennessee.
Previously, he worked at Lee, Danner & Bass as a portfolio manager and at J.C.
Bradford in the syndicate group, where he helped to bring many new issues to market.
He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and German from Washington & Lee University and received his MBA with a concentration in Finance from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
He holds the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
As Assistant Treasurer of Vanderbilt University, he was responsible for the management of Charitable Remainder Trusts and Separately Invested Endowment Funds.
He also managed the stock distributions from the University’s Venture Capital Portfolio and performed extensive due diligence on investment managers for the university.
