Harald Dale-Olsen

Dr. Harald Dale-Olsen is a Research Fellow at Forschungsinstitut zur Zukunft der Arbeit GmbH.
He is Research Professor at the Institute for Social Research (ISF) in Oslo.
He has previously been editor of the Norwegian Journal of Working Life Studies and is still a member of the journal’s editorial board.
His research interest is employees’ response to wages and non-wage amenities, sick leave behavior, gender and union issues, and social interaction, and how these issues affect employers.
He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in December 2017.
Dr. Dale-Olsen was previously employed as an Economist by The National Institute of Economic & Social Research.
He was a Visiting Fellow at the Department of Economics, University College London in 2004.
