For the six years prior to joining CSCP in 2007, Mr. Rygiel served as Operating Partner for Bank of America Capital Investors, a $350 million fund focused primarily on manufacturing and distribution companies in the middle market.
Since 1991 he had served as President/COO of various Saranow Group companies.
Mr. Rygiel was VP/General Manager of the Electromechanical Systems Unit of Johnson Controls, which he joined in 1985, and VP of Operations at Tellabs which he joined in 1983.
Earlier industrial experiences include, nine years at Motorola as VP/Director of the Alternator and Instrumentation businesses, as well as positions with Ford Motor Company and Hewlett Packard.
Mr. Rygiel holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School, an MS from Stanford University in Electrical Engineering, and a BEE from the University of Detroit.
