Michael J.
Howerton was Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of ImClone Systems, Inc. from June 2004 to October 13, 2006.
He was Vice President of Business Development for ImClone Systems from August 2001 to May 2003 and became Vice President of Finance and Business Development, Acting Chief Financial Officer and Secretary in May 2003.
Prior to joining ImClone Systems, Mr. Howerton held various positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. for 25 years.
He served as Vice President of Financial Analysis and Assistant Controller for Bristol-Myers Squibb from 1998 to 2001 and Vice President of Corporate Development for 8 years.
He received a BA from Holy Cross College and an MBA from Iona College in New Rochelle, New York.
