Profil
Dr. Gupta coordinates university and research center interactions and advises Tallwood on significant recent technical advances in semiconductor systems and software.
In addition to his work at Tallwood, Dr. Gupta teaches Computer Science and Engineering at UC San Diego as a Qualcomm endowed chair professor.
He brings his experience in the industry as a design engineer at Intel Corporation on three generations of microprocessor design teams, and over fourteen years of experience as an academic researcher in microelectronic systems, and low power design.
Earlier, he lead DARPA-supported efforts on data intensive computing and power efficient architectures.
He holds four patents and author/co-author of three books and over 200 technical articles on various aspects of microelectronic embedded systems.
Dr. Gupta received his B. Tech.
in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur, MS in EECS from UC Berkeley and a Ph.
D.
in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
He is a fellow of the IEEE.
