oining HealthEdge in 2012 as an Operating Partner, Steve previously served as CEO of Infinity Homecare, a Florida-based provider of Medicare home health and therapy services and, more recently, as a member of the Board of Directors of Medical Neurogenetics.
Previously Steve served as Executive Vice President of Integration and Chief Human Resources Officer at Piedmont Healthcare, a top southeast regional healthcare system, where he led the system-wide strategy for integration of a $1.6 billion company with 11,000 employees, five hospitals and over 100 locations.
Before Piedmont, Steve held the position of Senior Vice President of People and Technology at Stiefel Laboratories, Inc., where he directed the acquisition of Connetics Corporation for $640 million in 2006, Barrier Therapeutics for $148 million in 2008, and ABR, a closely-held French Aesthetics Company in 2008.
In 2009 he was directly involved in the global sale of Steifel to Glaxo SmithKline for $3.6 billion.
Outside of HealthEdge, Steve is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Georgia Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and serves as a member of the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Annual Fund Board.
Steve graduated with an M.B.A.
from Goizueta Business School at Emory University and is a Morehead Scholar from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned a dual B.A.
in Physics and Geography.
