Mr. Raymond T.
Schilt is a Partner & Co-Chief Investment Officer at Alternative Investment Group Services LP.
He joined the firm in June of 2018.
Prior to joining Alternative Investment Group, he was Co-CIO at Berens Capital Management, LLC from 2003 to 2018.
Prior to joining Berens Capital, he was a Managing Director at K2 Advisors, a fund of hedge funds firm.
From 1988 to 2000, he was a Managing Director at Tiger Management where he spearheaded the movement into Japanese long and short investments and was also involved in U.S.
equity analysis.
In 1996, he moved to Japan to manage and expand Tiger’s Tokyo research team.
Prior to joining Tiger Management, he was Director of Research and Investment Strategist at Morgan Stanley where he helped build and manage the Tokyo-based research team.
From 1983 to 1985, he was at Asia Management Corporation as President and Portfolio Manager of the Japan Fund, the first U.S.-based mutual fund invested solely in Japanese equities.
He began his career at Merrill Lynch in 1968 and eventually became Vice President and Portfolio Manager of the Merrill Lynch Capital Fund and the Merrill Lynch Pacific Fund.
He received a B.A. from Hofstra University.
He is a member of the Board of The Tiger Foundation and the Japan Society, and is a Non-Executive Director of Rodinia Partners.
