Tyrone Bricknell

A qualified CA (SA) and member of SAICA, Tyrone Bricknell joined the Jacobs Capital team in 2015 following a successful career with Investec.
Tyrone’s career began at KPMG in external audits.
During his three years at KPMG, he was involved in every stage of the auditing process, laying the foundation for his subsequent career in finance and investment banking.
After qualifying as a chartered accountant, Tyrone worked briefly as a financial analyst for Nedbank before taking up a position at Investec Bank as a deal originator in the Private Capital team.
These deals included structuring debt and equity instruments, and involved management buy-outs and buy-ins, BEE deals, preference share and debt funding, direct equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, as well as balance sheet restructuring.
Tyrone brings with him almost a decade of experience in the merger and acquisition space, with a track record of successfully facilitated transactions across a wide variety of industries.
