Luzern, 24. Januar 2020 - SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH, ein weltweit führendes
Unternehmen für Speziallangstahl, teilt mit, dass Dr. Oliver Thum mit heutiger
Wirkung seinen Rücktritt aus dem Verwaltungsrat von SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH AG
bekannt gegeben hat.

Dr. Oliver Thum wurde am 26. September 2013 erstmals in den Verwaltungsrat
gewählt und gehörte diesem seit dann ununterbrochen an. Seit seiner
erstmaligen Wahl bis zu dessen Auflösung Ende 2015 war Dr. Oliver Thum Mitglied
des Strategieausschusses (Strategy Committee) und vom 9. Dezember 2016 bis zur
Generalversammlung 2019 Mitglied des Prüfungsausschusses (Audit Committee).
 
Ein allfälliger Nachfolger für den frei werdenden Verwaltungsratssitz wird der
Generalversammlung vom 28. April 2020 zur Wahl vorgeschlagen.
