Originally founded as Laurence Keen Unit Trust Management Ltd. in 1989, the firm was acquired by the Rathbone Group in 1995 and was renamed Rathbone Unit Trust Management Ltd. in 1999. They became Rathbones Asset Management Ltd. in 2023. Headquartered in London, RAM manages the Rathbone family of equity and fixed-income funds for retail investors and segregated institutional accounts.

Rathbone Investment Management Ltd. (RIM) is the wholly-owned investment management subsidiary of Rathbone Brothers Plc (LON: RAT) in Great Britain. The firm is headquartered in Liverpool and was founded in 1979. RIM manages portfolios for US resident individuals, trusts, charities and pensions. They also provide individual investment and wealth management services for private clients, charities, trustees and professional partners, primarily in Great Britain.

Newton Investment Management Ltd. (Newton) is the wholly-owned, Great Britain-based investment management subsidiary of Newton Management Ltd., ultimately held by The Bank of New York Mellon Corp. (NYSE: BK) (BNY Mellon) in the US. The firm was founded in 1978 as a joint venture with Scottish insurance broker Reed Stenhouse. In 1986 they were acquired by Alexander & Alexander and were renamed Newton Investment Management. Headquartered in London, Newton provides investment products and services to a wide range of clients, such as pension funds, charities, corporations and individuals (via BNY Mellon). Newton is a signatory to the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI).

UBS Wealth Management (UK) Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of UBS AG. The group established their UK wealth management presence in London in 1999 and in 2004 acquired Laing & Cruickshank Investment Management. They provide wealth management for their private high net-worth clients primarily based in the UK. They provide discretionary portfolio management as well as advisory services. They manage several UK-domiciled funds.
