Chris Grafft

Chris Grafft joined Austin Ventures in 1998 and focuses on the firm’s Services investment area.
Previously, Chris was a member of Tivoli’s executive committee through 1997 and held several executive roles during the company’s growth from an early stage-startup to a $1 billion software business.
He was vice president of development, senior VP of products, and senior VP of business units and business development, responsible for establishing Tivoli’s strategic partnerships and all mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining Tivoli, Chris was an independent consultant, planning and developing UNIX-based applications for the voice/call-processing industry.
Chris co-founded Facet Telecommunications, a venture-backed start-up providing call-transaction processing solutions, and was formerly vice president of product development for Aspect Telecommunications.
Chris received his MS in computer science and his BA in mathematics from Southern Illinois University.
