Mr. Maloney is a consultant for RiverNorth Capital.
He works closely with the firm's research and investment team, providing support in the areas of statistical modeling, trading strategy back-testing and quantitative research.
Prior to joining RiverNorth Capital in 2009, he worked as a quantitative analyst for the proprietary trading desk at Credit Suisse First Boston where he specialized in closed-end funds and index arbitrage.
He also spent time working on the equity derivatives trading desk at Wachovia, before leaving to start his own asset management business.

Mr. Maloney graduated summa cum laude from Missouri University of Science and Technology with a B.S.
in Physics and a B.S.
in applied mathematics and culminated his education at Cornell University where he earned a Ph.D.
in theoretical physics.
