Jacques Frehner

Prior to joining Lydian Capital Advisors, Jacques spent one year managing the listed equity portfolio of Lydian Capital’s principal investors.
Previously, he spent six years as a Senior Investment Officer within investee companies of MFC Bancorp Ltd, a US-listed financial services company.
He was based in Switzerland and Canada, and was responsible for structuring transactions, restructuring services and debt workout, arranging bridge loans, arranging or providing equity financings and providing interim management services or Board representation.
His experience includes making venture capital investments, as well as numerous buy-outs and acquisitions.
He befan his career (1993-96) in portfolio management for AIG Private Bank, the banking arm of American International Group ("AIG") in Zurich and Geneva, and then in quantitative analysis for an AIG related hedge fund in New York.
Jacques holds a degree in finance from the University of Geneva.
He is 36 years old and a Swiss citizen.
