Mr. Nick J.
Measham
is Investment Adviser at Ferox Capital LLP.
He was previously employed as Co-Founder & Head of Research by Elcot Capital Management Ltd.
In 2003, he joined Mike Vogel to set up Elcot Capital, and was responsible for the fund research activities of Elcot, the core of which was meeting the managers and understanding their strategy and underlying positions.
Mr. Measham began his career as a Business Correspondent for The Economist magazine, undertaking a number of international assignments.
In 1983, he moved into the securities industry, becoming an Equity Analyst, working on a number of sectors before concentrating on telecoms.
Whilst working for BZW, he ranked Number 1 in the Extel Survey of sell side analysts.
His career on the sell side continued successfully until 1991, when he moved to the buy side as a Partner in the London office of the Chicago-based global investment manager, Brinson Partners.
Mr. Measham moved through from sector specialist to being in charge of the European research effort and the team of analysts.
Following the acquisition of Brinson by UBS, he became Managing Director and Head of European Research for the enlarged group.
He left UBS in 2001 to join a boutique investment house, where he analysed special equity situations and funds.
Mr. Measham graduated from Oxford University in 1980 with a first class honours degree in History and Economics.
