Rene MaCapinlac

Rene Macapinlac, Media Relations Specialist, joined Bliss, Gouverneur & Associates in 2005.
Prior to BGA, he worked for Mellon Financial Corporation's human resources and investors' solutions business.
He began his career in the Philippines as an HR analyst.
From providing benefits information to employees, he became the primary source of information for the media covering the stock market as the Officer-in-Charge of Corporate Communications for the Philippine Stock Exchange.
Since then, he has been focusing on public relations for financial corporations.
Rene has an M.A.
in Speech and Interpersonal Communication from New York University and a B.A.
in Broadcast Communication from the University of the Philippines.
A history and travel buff, he often "volunteers" as a tour guide to visiting family and friends.
Browsing the net, dailies, trade magazines and watching news programs are all essential to his day job but Rene admits he enjoys doing them--even during his spare time.
