Brian McKrow

Mr. McKrow joined Abacus as Director, Real Estate Acquisitions in 2004 and became a director at Abacus Real Estate Investments in 2006.
He began his career in real estate in the management consulting practice at PriceWaterhouse.
For about five years, he provided feasibility, acquisition, disposition and development strategies to a wide variety of real estate owners.
He then spent more than 12 years with some of Canada’s largest public real estate companies including MD Realty Corporation, Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust and Oxford Properties.
During this period, he held senior roles in asset management, acquisitions and development.
In these companies, he was also a member of a management team that executed several large portfolio merger and acquisition transactions.
Mr. McKrow graduated from the School of Engineering at the University of Guelph in 1984 and obtained an MBA from McGill University in 1986.
He also holds a Diploma in Urban Land Economics from the University of British Columbia.
