Dimitrios Bermperoglou

Dr. Dimitrios Bermperoglou is a Research Analyst at Kiel Institute for the World Economy.
He is a postdoc fellow in “Macroeconomic Policy under Market Imperfections” at the Kiel Institute for the World Economic.
His research interests lie in the areas of Fiscal Policy, Monetary Macroeconomics, and Business Cycles.
Before joining the Institute, Dr. Bermperoglou was a postdoc researcher at the University of Lausanne and a visiting researcher at the European Central Bank and the European University Institute.
He received his Ph.D.
in Economics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and Barcelona Graduate School of Economics in 2015 after defending his thesis on the impact of fiscal policy in imperfect labor and financial markets.
