Jade lai

Jade is a partner on the enterprise investment team at Andreessen Horowitz.
She is focused on data and ML infrastructure, enterprise workflow automation, novel ML/AI applications, and API businesses.
Prior to Andreessen Horowitz, she was an investor and first hire at Playground Global, an early stage venture fund and engineering studio focused on investing in deep tech and enterprise software investments.
She helped build out the investment practice from sourcing, diligence, and deal execution to portfolio management and led investments in Relativity Space, Virta Health, RapidSOS, Nervana Systems (acquired by Intel), and more.
Jade holds an Honors in Business Administration from Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
