Jim Scott Anderson

Mr. Anderson joined Gulf Stream Structured Advisors in March 2006.
Prior to that, he worked for over ten years at Wachovia Securities (formerly First Union Securities) in a variety of structured finance and ABS-related positions, including a Director in ABS Research and a Managing Director in ABS Product Management.
He began the high-grade research effort at First Union Securities with a personal focus on ABS.
He has extensive product knowledge of all aspects of ABS, particularly home equity, auto, credit card, manufactured housing, equipment lease, franchise and other emerging asset classes.
He has published extensive ABS research as well as authoring numerous articles included in the TMA Journal, Investing in Asset Backed Securities, Handbook of Structured Financial Products, and Handbook of Fixed Income Securities.
Prior to Wachovia/First Union, Mr. Anderson was an Executive Vice President and Founding Partner of Aegis Holdings, an emerging asset-class structured finance firm.
Aegis was first to securitize FHA Title-1 Home Improvement Loans and mutual fund 12-b1 fees.
Mr. Anderson holds a bachelor’s degree from Duke University, a Masters from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University and has 29 years of corporate and investment banking experience, including responsibilities at Bankers Trust, DLJ, and Merrill Lynch.
